Heritage race 2013 (Mandy) :-)

During this heritage race , we went places around or near city hall area to find out more about singapore's history . In the beginning , all of us found it really uninteresting and boring maybe even a waste of time . But as we reached our destination , we had to complete some "missions" in order to get into the place or to attain the next clue to our next venue , it was really engaging and fun at the same time . It really wasn't boring or "sien" and not only that , it even helped us to engage into conversations and because of this race , we bonded more and we even became closer ! 

Ok , so on our last destination , we went to chijmes . Even though we were really tired and getting restless , we decided to persevere and head on to our third and final location which is chijmes . Chijmes is a historic building complex in Singapore , which began life as a catholic convent known as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus and convent quarters known as Caldwell House . The complex is located at Victoria Street in the Downtown Core , within the Central area , singapore's central buisness district . 

This heritage race is really fun and interesting after we had completed the race and even though my group didn't win , we were still really glad that my team mates from another group had win first place , so yaaaaaay ! :-) this race had thought me to be more persevering and not to give up under any circumstances , cause if you give up , you will not achieve or gain anything in the end but if you choose not to , you might even have a chance of winning .
